BGMI 3.7 Update Patch Notes: Erangel Mech Suits, AWM Buff & 120 FPS Wider Device Rollout

The long-awaited BGMI Version 3.7 update has landed across Android and iOS devices in India. Featuring futuristic biomechanical elements, a comprehensive weapon re-balance for competitive rooms, and unlocked 120 FPS support for older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 devices, here is the full patch breakdown.

1. New Thematic Mode: Biomechanical Mech Suits

In Ranked Erangel and Livik matches, players can drop into designated high-tier Mech Assembly Plants located at Georgopol and Yasnaya Polyana. These stations spawn pilotable mech suits equipped with hover thrusters, dual heavy plasma cannons, and a deployable kinetic barrier.

  • Fuel Consumption: Mechs consume conventional fuel cans or recharge at charging pylons scattered across major compounds.
  • Destruction Mechanic: Depleting the Mech HP initiates a 3-second self-destruct countdown, ejecting the pilot 30 meters into the air with an emergency glider.

2. Weapon Balancing: AWM Velocity & Shotgun Nerfs

Weapon Patch 3.7 Adjustment Competitive Impact
AWM Sniper Rifle Muzzle velocity increased from 910 m/s to 960 m/s; bullet drop reduced by 14% Long-range moving vehicle snipes are significantly easier
DBS Shotgun Pellet spread increased by 18%; damage falloff starts at 7m instead of 10m Reduces one-shot knock consistency in apartment hot drops
ACE32 Assault Rifle Horizontal recoil reduced by 12%; reload speed buffed by 0.2s Viable alternative to M416 and Beryl M762 in close-mid range sprays

3. 120 FPS Unlocked on More Handsets

Krafton confirmed that 120 FPS (Extreme+ profile) is now natively enabled for OnePlus 11, iQOO 11, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and select Dimensity 9300 devices, eliminating the need for third-party config tweaks.
